RENEWED HOPE

Overall, I think Elizabeth Alexander presents like a Jr. Maya Angelo, but her words "Love that casts a widening pool of light...praise song for walking forward in that light" are beautiful, and full of hope. It was brief, but lovely.

I was so happy last week when they announced the President's press conference. I suddenly realized that I wanted to hear what he had to say, as opposed to the dread that I've grown used to feeling when I knew George W. was about to speak!!! Not even considering the content, just the eloquence of the presentation was refreshing. I have renewed hope....
